Network coverage in Jordan

In Jordan, the eSIM runs on Zain and Umniah, which means you are on a local network rather than a slow international relay. Petra and Wadi Rum have coverage near the visitor areas but not deep in the canyons or dunes. Amman and the Dead Sea resorts have full 5G, and the road to Aqaba is covered throughout.

How much data do you need?

As a rule of thumb, 500 MB to 1 GB a day covers maps, WhatsApp, ride-hailing and social feeds. A week of city sightseeing usually fits in 5 GB; a road trip with constant navigation is better served by an unlimited plan.

A fixed-data plan includes a total data allowance for its validity period. An unlimited plan may include a daily high-speed allowance, followed by data at reduced speed.

Before buying, check the daily high-speed allowance, the speed after that allowance and when it renews. Conditions depend on the selected plan.

Unless the product page says otherwise, a travel eSIM is data-only. It does not include a local number for standard calls or SMS.

Connect your other devices to this hotspot. Their data usage is deducted from your eSIM plan, and any sharing limits still apply.

A fixed-data plan stops providing internet when its allowance or validity ends. For unlimited plans, the high-speed and reduced-speed conditions apply during the validity period.

Unused data does not automatically roll over. Check whether a top-up is available or choose a new plan. Your travel plan does not renew automatically.
