The catalogue confirms that a version of the model is documented with eSIM. Also check that the eSIM option appears in your settings and that your phone is unlocked for all carriers. Some versions with the same name can differ.
Not necessarily. The catalogue is a snapshot, and new models or variants may be missing. Check the settings and the official spec page for your model. Don’t pick a model with a similar name: a Lite, FE, Pro or Plus suffix can change compatibility.
Find its exact model in Settings. Check for the Add eSIM option and that it’s unlocked for all carriers, or ask your seller to confirm.
No. Dual SIM can mean two physical cards, one physical card and one eSIM, or two eSIMs. Check the SIM section of the spec sheet for your exact model.
An update can enable a feature on a device that has the hardware. It can’t add a missing eSIM chip. Third-party adapters aren’t covered by this checker.
Your number stays tied to your main line. On a phone that supports two lines at once, you can keep it and use the eSIM for data. Your usual carrier may still charge for calls, texts and roaming.
