FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Answers to your eSIM questions.

It changes how you install your plan, not the masts available. Coverage and speed depend on the partner network, your phone, your location and your plan. So 5G isn’t guaranteed everywhere.

Adding a travel eSIM doesn’t automatically replace your usual line. Your WhatsApp account can stay linked to your current number. Calls and texts on your main line are still charged at your carrier’s rates.

Install the eSIM profile and activate its line before you leave, following your email. At your destination, the connection to the partner network happens automatically. Your plan’s validity is shown in your offer.

It depends on the offer. The WellRoam data plans shown here are for mobile data. They let you use messaging and internet calling apps; they don’t automatically add a local number.

Yes, on a phone that supports this combination of lines. Choose which line uses mobile data in your settings. To avoid using your usual plan by accident, check roaming and automatic data switching.

Make sure you have a stable internet connection to download the profile, ideally before you leave. Once the eSIM is installed and your plan is active, mobile data access depends on coverage at your destination.

Hotspot depends on the plan and the phone. Check the offer details before you buy: the amount shared and the speed may be limited.

You’re buying a mobile plan: its price depends mainly on the destination, the amount of data and the duration. Compare these terms with your usual plan before you choose.
